On November 6, 2015, Radiance participated in the “Aim for Advocacy” Sporting Clay Event presented by Remington, which benefited the National Children’s Advocacy Center (NCAC), and took place at the Limestone Hunting Preserve in Ardmore, Alabama. Based in Huntsville, Alabama the NCAC has provided child abuse prevention and response for children in the United States and across the globe since their founding in 1985.
Radiance, a long-time supporter of the NCAC, was represented by the “Radiance Shooting Team,” including Peter Weiland, Jerry Skievaski, and Dave Diaddario with Bill Bailey (Little Bill) as a stand-in for Rick Mentzer. The 2015 sponsors included Brown Precision, Drake’s, and Remington who supplied the ammunition for participants. The “Aim for Advocacy” event was a fantastic opportunity for Radiance to connect with the community, shoot clays, and enjoy food in the name of raising funds and awareness for the NCAC. Due to the large turnout, the NCAC raised $22,828.63 to help provide critical services to child abuse victims.
