The GSA schedules are competitively awarded schedule contracts each with fixed prices for each hour or product. The Schedules program is available to all federal agencies and their approved contractors. The prices specified in the schedules have already been determined “fair and reasonable” by the Government, per FAR 8.4. Delivery/Task Orders referencing the GSA schedule number flow directly from the agency to the Scheduleholder. There is no middle-man, no need to advertise in the FedBizOpps, and no need to coordinate with anyone outside your own agency. Each agency has contract procedures to follow when using this streamlined and simplified procurement process. Refer to FAR 8.4 for complete details.
Other Contract Vehicles
Radiance holds a variety of contract and subcontract vehicles. A number of these are IDIQ (Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity) type contract vehicles are open to multiple federal agencies provided any work or products requested under these vehicles meets the scope of the given vehicle’s statement of work. These contract vehicles are all task order type contract vehicles and each task order, especially if over $100,000, is required to be competed unless the customer has made a “sole source” determination as specified under FAR Part 16.
