Software Engineer to support applications development for DoD-related projects.  Position involves design and development of code for web services, object-oriented analysis and software integration. Successful candidate is also required to have extensive experience in lifecycle development including requirements analysis, software review, code metrics, softare testing, risk analysis, performance testing and documentaion. 

Responsible for designing, implementating and testing software systems and solutions;  performing software design evaluations; developing GUI and middleware components for web-based systems, and creating technical specifications and test plans.

Candidate will create custom applications supporting supporting intelligence and homeland security based projects.   Knowledge of configuration and architecture processes required for the integration and sharing of enterprise data resources is required.

Candidate will  develop both packaged systems and/or systems software.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or relevant technical field (Required).
• Minimum of 5 years experience in software design, development, testing and implementation (Required).
• Minimum of 5 years user interface programming in graphical and web-based development environments (Required).
• US Citizenship with the ability to obtain a security clearance (Required).

HW, SW, Platform, Systems knowledge: Java/J2EE, .Net, C/C++,C#, PERL, HTML, JavaScript, VBA, Web Services, SOAP, XML, Linux, SQL Server, MySQL
Experience writing programming applications in a variety of related macros
Extensive expertise with service-oriented architecture (SOA), web services, software lifecycle development

Considered a Plus:
ESRI Product Knowledge: ArcGIS, ArcServer, ArcSDE, ArcEngine, etc.
Artificial Intelligence experience
