Provides software development for Radiance Technologies Stennis Operations Division supporting National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and Naval Oceanographic Office contracts for the product development of software applications for web pages, geospatial applications and other web based dissemination activities.  Responsible for design, development, implementation and analysis of software products and system solutions; Performs software engineering design evaluations; Performs software development functions in one or more of the following areas: Software Design, Hardware Design/Systems Architecture for Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Systems (GIS); Manages schedules and project timelines.

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or relevant technical field (Required).
• US Citizenship with the ability to obtain a security clearance (Required).
• Experience with object oriented programming such as JAVA, C#, C++, or Visual Basic (Required).
• Minimum of 3 years relevant experience or a Masters degree in a technical field (Required).

Knowledge of geographic information system technologies is a plus.
